What are the opportunities for innovation in the insurance segment?
Challenge
Our client in the insurance sector wanted to make a significant step-up: completely transform their value proposition and create a self-serve platform of products and services that truly addressed the needs of end-users. Our mission? Understand what customers need and use that information to build a portal that would pave the way for innovative and personalised solutions.
Solution
We implemented a modular and interdisciplinary approach capable of generating ideas and identifying development opportunities. We began with listening: on the one hand, we focused on gathering the needs of trendsetters, those who drive change, to understand what will be "hot" in the future. On the other side, we carefully listened to the end customers to integrate their visions and needs.
But we did not stop there: we combined and cross-fertilised ideas from all stakeholders, creating a synergy between the insights of the pioneers, the expectations of the end users and the possible development journey of the management. We then measured the interest, uniqueness and appeal of the development journey, identifying those with the highest potential. This allowed us to build an innovative value proposition perfectly aligned with new market needs, while remaining actionable.

We learned that today's customer wants to be the protagonist and at the center of every purchasing decision, but in certain areas, like finance, they need coaching and guidance. A bidirectional dialogue platform could meet this need.
